If you want to grow your own psilocybin mushrooms,
it’s important to follow this guide and avoid any temptation to innovate – at
least for the first time. Failure among newbie magic mushrooms growers is the
primary cause of failure.
General
Guidelines in Growing Magic Mushrooms
Before you grow magic mushrooms at home, it’s
important to keep your work area as clean as possible. Following these
guidelines will help prevent molds from contaminating your mushroom grow
environment.
- Wash your utensils before and after using them.
- Sterilize the air in your workspace by keeping a Bunsen burner nearby.
- Avoid doing any general cleaning during the growing process. Cleaning up will cause dust to fly in the air.
- Never use contaminated mushrooms. Throw away any dubious mushrooms without regret. Growing psychedelic mushrooms doesn’t cost too much money and they regrow fast.
Growing
Magic Mushrooms Using a Spore Print
This method is perfect for beginners. For now, avoid
growing Copelandia cyanescens. It has one of the strongest hallucinogenic
effects but is also more difficult to grow. It’s better to try growing
Psilocybe cubensis first. This strain is perfect for beginners- Buy Mdma
Supplies:
- One spore print from a Psilocybe cubensis mushroom
- Petri dishes with agar
- One Bunsen burner with gas bottle
- One large and wide needle
- 3 or 4 large airtight jars
- 10 kilograms of rice flour
- Several kilos of vermiculite
- Pressure cooker
- 3 large Styrofoam boxes lined with airtight foil inside
- 1 scalpel
- Organic rye

Once you have completed all the supplies, you’re now
ready to start following the 20 steps in this magic mushroom grow guide.

Step
1.
Choose an area in your house that will serve as your
grow room. It should be free from dust and molds.
Step
2.
Set up the Bunsen burner and start a fire.
Step
3.
Sterilize your needle. Hold the pointy end towards
the flame of the Bunsen burner until it starts to get a bit red. Let it cool.
Hold it into the flame again for 5 seconds and let it cool.
Step
4.
Press the needle tip into the magic mushroom spore
print.
Step
5.
Open the Petri dishes and put the needle tip into
the agar and close the Petri dish. This has to be done quickly to prevent
contamination.
Step
6.
Repeat steps 1-5 to two or three more Petri dishes
and store them in a dark room with room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight to
prevent unnecessary heating. Within 4 to 10 days, you should see the magic
mushrooms growing.
Step
7.
Observe until the spore colonies have grown over the
whole Petri dish. Once they’ve covered the entire area, prepare for the 8th
step.
Step
8.
Mix 1 part Vermiculite, 1 part rice flour and 3
parts organic rye together. Continue mixing until tey are in distributed
equally throughout the mixture.
Step
9.
Distribute the mixture among your airtight jars.
Prevent any unnecessary particles from getting into the jars. Add two small
coffee cups of water into each jar. Close.
Step
10.
Sterilize the jars. Put the preserving jars inside
the pressure cooker and set it on low heat. When the pressure cooker reaches
full heat, let the jars stay for 60 minutes.
Step
11.
Allow the jars to cool down to room temperature.
Remember to never open the lid of the jars.
Step
12.
The Petri dishes should be colonized with psilocybin
mushrooms by now. Sterilize the scalpel over the Bunsen burner and let it cool.
Step
13.
Cut the colonized agar into squares so that you have
5-10 small squares of colonized pieces.
Step
14.
Wear your sterile gloves. Open the lid of the
sterilized jars. Push some pieces of the colonized agar pieces into them and
close them again. Repeat this step until you finish putting all the
hallucinogenic mushroom spores into the Petri dishes.
Step
15.
Keep the jars in a dark area with room temperature.
Over the course of the next days, you will see the magic mushrooms digging
through the feeding media. Let the mushrooms grow until half of the jar is
filled.
Step
16.
Prepare the same grow media in Step 8 with the same
amount of water and put it in the pressure cooker until it reaches full heat.
Take it out and spread it on the bottom of your Styrofoam box,
Step
17.
Remove the colonized material from the jar and mix
it under the media in the Styrofoam box. Cover.
Step
18.
Keep the box at 24°C and make sure the media doesn’t
become soaked. Spray with just enough distilled water to adjust humidity inside
the box.
Step
19.
The magic mushrooms should colonize the whole box by
now. Watch out for the caps which are just about to open. Once you see them,
it’s time to harvest.
Step
20.
To harvest the mushrooms, grip each stalk and pull
until you hear a “thud.” When done, spray the box with water until the media
becomes wet again.
